Ed Pantera is a top‑tier 3D character artist with over 20 years of experience in the Korean game industry. He has served as a Lead Character Modeler and Director for major studios, including NC Soft, Netmarble, and Webzen.
Key Learnings & Curriculum
The course walks through the practical workflow used in the game industry to create highly realistic and aesthetically pleasing 3D female characters. The curriculum is broken down into three main phases:
Female Anatomy & Base Modeling: Understanding female body proportions, skeletal and muscular structures, and facial features. You will learn how to use ZBrush to sculpt natural‑looking faces and accurate body silhouettes.
Detailing & Character Vibe: Adding realistic details that bring the character to life. This covers clothing (tops, bottoms, shoes, accessories), hair, makeup, facial texturing, and posing the character to fit a specific concept.
Lighting, Rendering & Post‑Correction: Setting up lighting and rendering the model using Marmoset Toolbag. The final step covers post‑correction and polishing the rendered data using Photoshop and Lightroom to achieve a professional finish.
Included Materials: Students receive base modeling files, essential source files, a full‑body human anatomy guide, and reference materials for creating natural‑looking characters.
